This song can be used to begin addressing the human rights issue related to what happened in Haiti, as a way to make a connection with something that is known by the students.
We are the world is one of the songs most widespread in the world, and was conducted in order to help those in need. Many singers came together to do it, such as Tina Turner and Lionel Richiem Michael Jackson.
when applied to the class can ask students to think about it

"Article 4 .- RIGHT TO LIFE.

1. Everyone has the right to respect for his life, this right shall be protected by law and in general, from the moment of conception. No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his life.
2. In countries that have not abolidaola death penalty, this can only be imposed for more serious crimes, in accordance with final sentence of a competent court and in accordance with a law establishing such punishment, enacted prior to the commission of the crime. Not be extended to crimes to which it does not presently apply.
3. Not be reestablished the death penalty in states that have abolished it.
4. In no case shall the death penalty for political offenses or related common politicians.
5. No penalty shall be imposed upon persons who, at the time the crime was committed, were under eighteen years of age or older than seventy, nor shall it apply to women during pregnancy.
6. Anyone sentenced to death has the right to apply for amnesty, pardon or commutation of sentence, which may be granted in all cases. You can not apply the death penalty while the application is pending decision by the competent authority."



This quote is extracted from the Pact of San Jose de Costa Rica, in which States undertake to respect and protect the right to life.
In my course is used in the Human Rights Unit, which is discussed with students.

The right to life is one of the most impoortantes, and many authors state that this is derived from other rights.

Express your opinion: "Evaluation shouls go hand-in-hand with student´s motivation, expections and needs, not whit objectives or accomtability"

O agree up to a point because it is necesary but is not the only aspect to be considered. In my opinion, the objetives are very important to make the evaluation because serve as a guide for the teacher, guiding its work.

The Brain

The human brain takes up most of the skull and weighs 1.2 kg. and 1.5 kg.
Its size varies according to the sex of the person, but it has nothing to do with the skills, intelligence, and functions performed.
Scientifically proven to not use the whole brain. This is divided into two hemispheres.
The left hemisphere acts as writing, logic, reasoning and rhythmic music.
The right hemisphere plays the role of intuition, emotion, imagination, artistic creativity and melodic music.

Rote Learning

In my opinion rote learning is very use for the students sometime un excess. This learning model don´t produce a real knowladge and affect students performance.
Rote learning make diffucult the teachers work because the students don´t used that tool but that only from to study.

My opinin on Ausubel theory

In my opinion, Ausubel's theory is one of the most important ones for education
science. It provides teachers with the necessary tools to improve teaching processes..
This theory is important because it helps to design instructional techniques
that promote students' progress.

Express your opinion: "Nowadays, rote learning is taking place at schools"

I agree with this affirmation, because in my experience, this is what I see every
day in my classes.
In my opinion, rote learning is commonly used by students, sometimes, in
excess. This learning model doesn`t produce a meaningful learning or affect
student´s performance.
Rote learning makes it difficult for teachers to work becuase students don´t
use good learning tool or strategies but only focus on form to study.
